What is Access Notifi?
Access Notifi consists of two services provided by our third-party partner, Vero:
The Access Notifi Breach Response Solution is a cost-effective identity theft and data breach response and recovery service that helps you to address state and federal regulations in the event of up to two data breach events per 12-month period (including customer notifications, employee talking points, call center scripting and public relations), and manages the identity recovery of up to 50,000 affected consumers/victims.
Business Credential Monitoring reduces your company’s exposure to fraud by continuously monitoring black-market sites known to traffic stolen identities. The service looks for your sensitive business information to see if it is being misused, sold or traded and, if suspicious activity is found, you will receive an alert via email or text.
We will also be introducing enhancements to Notifi in the near future that can provide additional proactive tools and services, such as pre-breach awareness and education resources. An Employee Benefit Program that includes ID theft recovery services for your employees – regardless of how the theft occurred – will soon be available as well.

The included services can save your organization time and legal expenses, and can help you mitigate the risks of lawsuits, negative publicity and customer attrition.
Data Breach Response Planning and Notification Services
If your organization experiences a potential data loss, an Access Notifi representative will conduct a comprehensive assessment to determine whether an actual breach occurred and, if one has, its nature and extent. The representative will also discover which federal and state notification requirements you must meet in response.
Within 48 hours, the Notifi representative will then create a customized Data Breach Response Plan that includes a dedicated point of contact, a detailed timeline and recommended communication plans for:
- Notification letters to governmental agencies and affected consumers.
- Employee talking points, public relations statements and FAQs to the general public and others.
- Website messaging.
- Call center scripting.
Fully Managed Recovery Services for Affected Consumers
Affected consumers will be assigned a professionally trained Recovery Advocate who will work with them to identify and resolve any instances of identity theft. These services are available for up to 50,000 consumers per security breach event, but can be expanded to include larger groups as needed, at preferred rates.
Consumers will have direct access to their Recovery Advocate via phone, email and fax for the duration of the case, and for 12 months after. They will also be provided an Identity Care Account with free credit monitoring and 24/7/365 access to updates concerning their identity theft case.
Should an identity theft event occur, the Recovery Advocate will also:
- Notify the consumer’s creditors, financial institutions and utility providers, as well as the major credit bureaus, of the event.
- Place fraud alerts at the three major credit bureaus.
- Provide copies of all three credit reports and help identify fraudulent activity.
- Provide assistance with filing a police report and the official Identity Theft Affidavit from the Federal Trade Commission.
- Contact the Social Security Administration, U.S. Postal Service, Department of Motor Vehicles and others to reverse any illicit information, transactions or misuse of official documentation.
- Research and document any fraudulent transactions and follow-up to make sure all wrongful activity is resolved and removed from credit files.
Business Credential Monitoring
This service provides you with the opportunity to upload up to 50 of your organization’s sensitive business credentials (such as credit card numbers, bank accounts, account login information, Federal EIN, and other personally identifiable information) to Vero’s secure database. Automated search robots and trained staff members can then search through millions of internet sites, including illicit newsgroups, IRC servers, black market forums, chat rooms, bulletin boards and other black market web pages, to gather and securely store as much relevant data as possible before running pattern matching formulas and proprietary algorithms to evaluate and classify the results. Once complete, the black market monitoring and surveillance service will correlate and match the scrubbed and classified data with your customer profile to determine if your data has been found compromised.

How Do I Use Access Notifi?
The Access Notifi Breach Response Solution: When a subscribed Access client suspects a loss or theft of data, one toll-free call to Notifi sets the process in motion. Live operators are available 24/7/365.
Business Credential Monitoring: When a subscribed client’s personal or business information is found on the black market, an alert will be sent via email and text message. Details can then be viewed within their secure Identity Care Account.
